PTFE gaskets

PTFE gaskets, or Teflon™ gaskets as they are also called, are based of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

PTFE-gaskets are outstanding on chemical resistance, and are the preferred gasket material for fluids that are aggressive, toxic or corrosive.

We have many different gasket materials our portfolio, where some are better suited than others for certain applications, so contact us and let our valve experts find the most suitable gasket to your process.

Choose your thickness

Our standard thickness on gaskets is 1,5mm, but they can be delivered thinner or thicker according to your wish.

Normally you want the gasket to be as thin as possible, but still thick enough to absorb all unevennesses on the flange.

Ring type or full-face gaskets?

Ring Gaskets are without bolt holes and stays inside of the bolts, while full-face gaskets include bolt holes and goes around the bolts.

Ring gaskets are most commin, and full-face gaskets are typically used on flat face flanges and are cut with bolt holes which allow the insertion of the flange bolts through the gasket.
