Operating conditions change over time, and therefore regular testing is important in order to maintain an optimal filtration process.

Preliminary testing of filtering results if you e.g. want a small-scale test with a new slurry or want to optimize the existing filtration process. The test can be carried out both in our laboratory in Finland or by having one of our service technicians come to you with mobile test equipment.

We can pre-test on a small scale how the filtration result with filter cake and filtrate will be. This is often desirable to test if changes are to be made to the slurry or filter press, so that the result can be checked on a small scale before running full-scale production.

During filtration testing, we can also test various parameters, to e.g. find the most suitable filter cloth or optimal feeding time. This is beneficial to do regularly as operating conditions often change over time and what were optimal conditions in the past may no longer be so now.

When purchasing new filtration equipment, it is important to understand that a separation process is affected by countless variables, and through testing we can gain a better understanding of the most important parameters for your process. Each process is unique and the filtration must therefore be optimized accordingly to achieve the best possible performance.

We also offer sales and rental of test equipment to customers such as e.g. has a need for continuous testing of new slurry.
