SHUT-OFF VALVES \u00bb<\/a><\/h5>\n

Shut of valves are design to fully shuts off the flow of liquids or gases, or to let the flow to fully pass. Shut valves can also often be used to reduce the flow rate, but normally with a low accuracy and sometimes problem with noise and cavitation. If the purpose is to adjust the flow going thru a control valve is a better option.<\/p>\n

CONTROL VALVES \u00bb<\/a><\/h5>\n

Control valves are designed to regulate the flow that goes through, and are designed to this with a high accuracy without getting problems with noise or cavitation etc. With the help of a actuator and autmation this job can be done automatically without the need of a operator.<\/p>\n

SAFETY VALVES \u00bb<\/a><\/h5>\n

Safety valves are designed to prevent unwanted pressure to build up within the system, by letting the pressure out if it reached the set pressure it is configurated with.<\/p>\n

CHECK VALVES (Non-Return valves) \u00bb<\/a><\/h5>\n

Check valves are designed to prevent the flow from going the opposite direction and will react and shut off the flow when that happens.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Knife gate valves also have a full flow without obstruction in the flow, and therefore provide low pressure loss. In addition, the gate acts like a knife when it closes, and is therefore particularly suitable for media containing long fibers that can get trapped. The gate valve is available in a variety of steel grades and is well suited for wastewater and acidic media.<\/div><\/div>
